How Do I Create A Page?

  1. New pages can be created through the Administrator Interface on the "Page" tab, which can be found here. This can only be accessed if you have administrator permissions.
  2. Once you are on the "Page" tab, click on the tab that says "Create".
  3. You will be taken to a page that will allow you to create a new page with your selected data.
  4. Choose your CSV file using the "Page Data" field.
  5. Click "Save" when done.

How Do I Add New Data To My Page?

  1. Cross Section works off of record based data. This means that Cross Section expects each row in your data to be an independent record of some kind of event, be it a sales record, a shipment record, etc. For example, say you're trying to display your company's shipments history and your Excel file looks like this:

    Invoice No. Item Number Revenue Quantity
    Item 100 $400 10
    Item 200 $100 4
    Item 100 $450 12
    Item 500 $1000 1
    Item 200 $100 4

    Cross Section won't be able to work with this data, as each row is not independent. Instead, your data should look like this:

    Invoice No. Item Number Revenue Quantity
    1002 Item 100 $400 10
    1002 Item 200 $100 4
    1003 Item 100 $450 12
    1004 Item 500 $1000 1
    1004 Item 200 $100 4
  2. Take your data from Excel, Numbers, or your database, and export it as a CSV. For a tutorial on how to export to a CSV in excel, click here.
  3. In the page tab in the admin interface, found here, click the button
  4. When you're in the edit page, use the "Page Data" field of the form to upload a your CSV.
  5. Click "Save". Your data will take a few moments to upload and save.

How Do I Add Charts To My Page?

  1. On your desired page, click the "Add Chart" button.
  2. Choose the type of chart you want.
  3. Choose the column you want the chart to represent.
  4. Click "Add".

How Do I Add Custom Branding?

  1. First, you must be on the Enterprise plan to get access to this feature.
  2. Go to the index page of the admin interface.
  3. Under the "Add Branding" header, there's a field called logo.
  4. Follow the requirements listed next to the field for the image.
  5. Upload the image.
  6. Click submit.

What Does "This is a trusted computer" Mean?

When browsing Cross Section on a computer you own, you can check this box to have Cross Section keep you logged in. This will also cause Cross Section to speed up the load times of pages by keeping a local copy of your data.

For the security of your data, please do not check this box when using someone else's computer.

How Do I Request A Refund?

Just send an email to stating that you want a refund and the name of your company. If your trial ended within 30 days of your request, you will be refunded no questions asked.

How Do I Delete My Account?

  1. Go to the index page of the admin interface.
  2. Click on the "Account Deletion" button.
  3. Confirm by following the instructions.
  4. Your company and all of its data and users are now deleted.
